tater tot casserole
We make this delicious casserole recipe a few times a month in our house. It is one of the few meals that everyone will eat and enjoy. This Tater tot casserole recipe is easy, takes very little time to prepare and it's a really cheap way to feed an average sized household for under $10.
It's also a fantastic recipe to get the kids involved with cooking. Mixing the cream of mushroom soup, lining up the tater tots, and pouring the soup mix over the top. As long as there is adult supervision, aside from cooking the beef, much of this recipe can be prepared by little ones.
This tater tot casserole recipe can modified to be made for freezing and serving at a later date. See instructions at the bottom.
Great when served with bread rolls, green beans or corn on the side.

yup, yup this is a good one. Nice job
The picture looks like the tots go on top of the soup, but the directions say soup on top of the tots. Which way is better?
I think I would like to try this as I do with my green bean casserole and layer the cheese after the soup before the tater tots and then also add to the top for the last step....
We make it by putting the soup on and then the tots. Instead of beans or corn on the side, we put them in it before the soup, its great!
